No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly why Scott Sammons loves what he does.

With over six years and nine months at RGIS, Scott has built his career around delivering merchandising and installation projects that make a tangible impact for customers across the UK. From large-scale national rollouts to tailored regional refreshes, Scott’s role as Key Account Manager places him at the centre of every project’s success.

“Whether it’s a 500-store investment programme, a bespoke fixture installation, or a detailed store audit, I thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment that keeps both myself and my team sharp, focused, and agile.”

At the heart of Scott’s work is collaboration. Every project begins with listening and understanding the customer’s goals, timelines, and challenges. From there, it’s about translating vision into action. Working closely with Managers, Field Teams, Project Managers, Merchandisers, Installers, and Snagging Specialists, Scott ensures every detail is delivered to the highest standard.

“Solving problems is key to my role, working with customers to find solutions for all elements of merchandising projects. My days revolve around which customers or projects I’m working on and making sure ongoing work is delivered to specification and customer satisfaction.”

For Scott, the most essential skill in his role is listening, not just to what’s said, but also to what’s needed. This attention to detail and genuine care for outcomes are what make him an invaluable link between RGIS and its clients.

Outside of his day-to-day responsibilities, Scott is also investing in his professional development by studying for a B2B Sales Degree Apprenticeship at Leeds Trinity University. Balancing a demanding role with academic study is no small task, but Scott’s drive and enthusiasm for growth are clear to see.

“RGIS has an unrivalled operational structure and the best people in the business. Our localised teams, supported by national infrastructure, allow us to mobilise quickly and deliver consistently, regardless of scale or complexity.”

When asked to describe a typical day, Scott laughs, because there really isn’t one. Every day brings new challenges, new sites, and new opportunities to deliver for clients. And when a project goes live and a customer’s vision is brought to life? That’s when it all comes together.
