    A multi country organisation with 160+ employees, required the support of RGIS. The company manufactures and sells meat slicers, knives and other kitchen and food processing equipment in 100 countries. With all design, marketing and product management activities based in Italy, the company is one of the most important European players in the food processing equipment business, both in the professional and consumer retail markets.

    THE CHALLENGE

    The company has a warehouse of materials and parts used in the production lines to manufacture the food processing equipment. The equipment manufacturer needed a solution to complete a wall-to-wall stocktake, so required RGIS to provide the following:

    • Complete a wall-to-wall count of the warehouse
    • Identify variances to expected stock levels
    • Update stock on hand levels for all stock
    • Count all parts in the warehouse, including small items such as screws, caps and bolts
