The manufacturer designs, develops and produces filtration systems and flexible suspension components as well as air management and engine cooling systems.

The filtration system manufacturer partnered with RGIS to complete the in-house inventory support project, and provided the following:
Scheduled a team of 50 experienced RGIS auditors for three days
Training for all RGIS auditors in the manufacturer’s inventory methodology
The customer completed a pre-inventory prior to the start of the count
All stock was counted, supporting the in-house team on day one
Day two and three were spent checking variances between the system and the stock count
Results
The filtration system manufacturer found by outsourcing the in-house inventory support project to RGIS, the following results were achieved:
A total of 56,000 items were counted
Recommendations were made on how to improve existing internal process to enhance accuracy and save time
Stock count was completed on time
