How It Works
Direct to Store Delivery Audit

Direct to Store (DTS) delivery audits are a key part of a comprehensive Good Faith Receiving (GFR) programme, focused on suppliers delivering directly to stores rather than via distribution centres.

Typically covering chilled, fresh, and low-turnover items, these deliveries are assumed 100% accurate, eliminating in-store checks and speeding up stock on shelves. To ensure delivery accuracy is maintained, RGIS conducts independent audits across a rotating sample of stores, with results extrapolated to measure overall supplier performance over a set period. This data supports recovery of stock discrepancies between invoiced and actual values. RGIS provides trained auditors, robust reporting tools, and actionable insights via our purpose-built GFR Dashboard to validate performance and support retailer confidence.

Audit Concept

Direct to Store auditing verifies invoiced goods using sample store audits, removing the need to check every delivery in every location.

Sample Selection

A daily rotating store sample is audited unannounced to ensure delivery accuracy and result integrity.

Data Flow

RGIS uses supplier advanced shipment notice (ASN) data before store audits to assess accuracy and provide performance metrics.

Customer First

By auditing a daily store sample, non-audited stores can skip checks, speeding up shelf availability and freeing staff to focus on customers.

Reliability

DTS audits improve supplier accuracy and performance, ensuring the right stock reaches the right place at the right time.

Actionable Insights

Our GFR Dashboard delivers clear results that improve supplier accuracy, reduce claims, and boost financial performance.
