RGIS was allocated half the pharmacies totalling 500 stores nationwide, and was required to provide the following:
The pharmacy chain needed to count the stock in 1000 pharmacy stores nationwide in a period of no more than three months. Due to logistics and time restraints, it was decided that they would work with two inventory companies in order to complete the job on schedule.
The pharmacy chain partnered with RGIS to complete the pharmacy store stock count project, and RGIS provided the following:
RGIS conducted pre-inventory visits to the larger pharmacies to have a better understanding of the customer’s requirements
Scheduled a team of eight experienced RGIS auditors for Lima completing approximately five store counts a day
Scheduled a team of four experienced RGIS auditors to cover the province, completing up to nine pharmacy counts a day
Accuracy checks were competed at all branches
Variance reports provided and all variances were checked and verified in store before the pharmacy could reopen
The pharmacy chain found by outsourcing the pharmacy store stock count project to RGIS, the following results were achieved:
Accurately counted over 13,000 units
Reports were provided in the format the customer requested for all pharmacy stores
RGIS team along with the customer’s staff fully checked all items showing a variance in stock numbers
Completed the project within the time frame requested by the customer

By partnering with RGIS to deliver a large-scale pharmacy stock count programme, the pharmacy chain achieved accurate, verified inventory visibility across 500 stores within the required three-month timeframe.
