The customer required RGIS to provide the following:
The car parts supplier needed a solution to empty stores of stock and transport to other locations after buying a company and closing sites.
The car parts supplier partnered with RGIS to complete the stock relocation and staff support project, and provided the following:
A dedicated RGIS project manager was assigned to oversee the project from start to completion
A schedule for all stores was compiled, with six experienced RGIS auditors per site
Each site to be completed over a three week period, Monday to Friday
Emptied all stock from shelves and placed into trolleys
Used picking sheets provided by the customer to ensure the correct stock was being selected
Placed picked stock by correct loading bay, and then loaded onto a truck to be transferred to local sites or main distribution centre
Continued this process until sites were completely empty
The car parts supplier found by outsourcing the stock relocation and staff support project to RGIS, the following results were achieved:
All stock had successfully been removed from each location and transported to the new locations
Had the relevant RGIS staff support to complete each site on time
The customer was able to utilise the stock in other locations

By partnering with RGIS to manage a nationwide stock relocation programme, the car parts supplier successfully cleared and transferred inventory from all 52 sites within the required timeframe. RGIS’s structured project management, experienced teams, and disciplined picking and loading processes ensured stock was accurately prepared and moved without disruption. As a result, the customer optimised stock utilisation across new locations and completed a complex, multi-site transition efficiently and on schedule.
