A retail chain specialising in fashion, food and hardware launched in Ireland 75 years ago and revolutionised the concept of retail in Ireland by promising better value to its customers. The retail chain provides food, fashion and hardware across 142 stores throughout Ireland, UK and Spain, and required the support of RGIS.
THE CHALLENGE
The customer required RGIS to provide the following:
- A wall-to-wall count within a 3PL warehouse
- Full count to be completed in one day
- To produce reports with specific data
- Stock data to be returned to the customer on a USB stick
Why RGIS?

The retail chain partnered with RGIS to complete the 3PL wall-to-wall warehouse count project and provided the following:
Scheduled a team of 40 experienced RGIS auditors
Count took place from 7am to 6pm on a Saturday
Customer verified 20% of areas for accuracy
Report data included DS bin location, barcode, product code, description and quantity
All stock data was loaded onto a USB stick as requested by the customer
Results
The retail chain found that by outsourcing the 3PL warehouse wall-to-wall count project to RGIS, the following was achieved:

Count completed within the time frame given by the customer of one day
All stock that was held within the 3PL warehouse could now be verified with its exact location in the warehouse
