    accurate store inventories

A national toy store chain was founded 35 years ago in Madrid and in 2018 was acquired by one of the fastest-growing, family-owned high street toy retailer in the UK. The chain which has 57 toy stores and an online store, developed a new concept store which included introducing screens to start the digitalisation of the in-store consumer experience by connecting stores to online-commerce platforms and social networks; all this enabled continued growth via innovation and to provide enhanced customer service.

    THE CHALLENGE

The toy store chain needed to perform inventories in the majority of the stores, so required RGIS to provide the following:

    • A schedule to be in place within two weeks of initial meetings
    • Complete 44 store counts in six weeks
    • No disruption to business
    • Working together with the store staff, as one team
    • Count all stock in each store including back or store rooms
    • Provide reporting to show total stock from all stores by store location

    Why RGIS?

The toy store chain needed to perform accurate inventories in 44 stores over a six week period with no disruption to business.
