Manual Warehouse Count With a One Day Turnaround

REQUIREMENT
The environmental solutions company needed a solution to complete a manual warehouse count within one day, so required RGIS to provide the following:
- A manual warehouse count
- All items and locations to be recorded
- Reporting to be provided on a USB device
- To be completed on a weekend, as not to disrupt the normal working week
SOLUTION
The environmental solutions company partnered with RGIS to complete the manual warehouse count project, and RGIS provided the following:
- Scheduled a team of 10 experienced RGIS auditors on a Saturday, from 9am to 6pm
- Details collected and checked:
- Warehouse
- Product code
- MPN-3d item number
- Location
- Description
- Expected stock quantity
- Actual stock quantity
- High areas were accessed with a fork-lift
RESULTS
The environmental solutions company found by outsourcing the manual warehouse count project to RGIS, the following results were achieved:
- Complete warehouse count was completed in one day on the weekend
- 200 bin locations were counted and checked
- 15,000 units were counted
- Reporting was recorded on a USB device, as requested by the customer
- The customer could update the stock file with accurate data
