The jewellery retailer identified that the pricing in store could be different to customer expectations.
The jewellery retailer partnered with RGIS to complete the pricing compliance audit project. RGIS provided inventories within all stores, so auditors were already familiar with the store environments. RGIS completed the following:
Scheduled all 167 stores for one day per store – 8 hours
Completed full in-store inventory in conjunction with the audit
Provided 3 to 12 experienced RGIS auditors per store dependent on store size
Created a custom audit process
The jewellery retailer found that by outsourcing the pricing compliance audit project to RGIS, the following was achieved:
3,000 stock items were counted and audited within small stores
15,000 stock items were counted and audited within larger stores
Confirmed inventory accuracy

Reduced audit time from 18 hours down to 8 hours per store. The prices were compliant with the customer's expectations.
